Kansas City, MO (April 29, 2024) – Three victims were injured following a motor vehicle accident in Kansas City. The Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers out of Platte County responded to the scene of the accident at around 5:40 p.m. on April 25.
According to law enforcement reports, a 2004 Ford Taurus collided with a 2011 Nissan Versa on the northbound side of Interstate 29. The vehicle then proceeded forward and collided with a concrete barrier. Both vehicles were totaled as a result of the crash and had to be towed from the scene. Three people were injured as a result of the accident. EMS responded to the scene to render aid to 35-year-old Ashlee King, 39-year-old Princess Pettigrew, and 39-year-old Darlene Hennrich. Hennrich was then transported to St. Luke’s Hospital on Barry Road for further medical care. At this time, investigations into the crash are ongoing.
