Fair Grove, MO (May 8, 2024) – A motor vehicle accident reported in Dallas County left one woman injured. The collision was reported to the Missouri State Highway Patrol at around 7:15 p.m. on May 6.

Law enforcement reports indicate that a 2005 Saturn Vue was traveling on US Highway 65 when it crashed into the rear of a 1997 GMC Sierra 1500. The incident prompted the closure of the roadway just six miles north of Fair Grove. A passenger in the GMC, identified as 51-year-old Alissa Wood of Tunas, Missouri, was injured. Wood was transported to Cox South Hospital in Springfield, Missouri, for medical care. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
