Car Accidents in Missouri
In 2020, Missouri saw over 130,000 motor vehicle accidents, leaving behind a path of destruction that affected countless lives. These accidents ranged from minor bumps to major crashes, with many resulting in serious injuries. For many individuals, the impact of these accidents goes beyond the physical pain, as they also suffer from emotional trauma and long-lasting health problems. Intersections across the state, which often see high volumes of traffic and complicated traffic patterns, are especially prone to these dangerous collisions. At these busy crossroads, drivers frequently make risky decisions, leading to serious accidents that change lives forever.
A large number of intersection accidents are caused by careless driving. Some common examples include drivers running red lights, ignoring stop signs, or failing to yield the right-of-way. These reckless actions often result in devastating consequences. Distracted driving, such as texting or using a cell phone while behind the wheel, is another major factor that contributes to accidents at intersections. If you have been injured because of someone else’s careless behavior on the road, seeking legal help could be the way to get the justice and compensation you deserve.
