Kansas City, MO (July 10, 2023) – A pedestrian accident reported in the Kansas City area claimed one person’s life.
Just after 11:00 p.m. on July 7, the Kansas City, Missouri, Police Department responded to the scene of an automobile accident on Interstate 70.
According to official reports, a silver Hyundai along Troy was traveling east along Interstate 70 when it struck a pedestrian near East 27th Street.
The Hyundai came to rest near the exit. The driver immediately called the police to report the accident.
The pedestrian was fatally injured and pronounced deceased at the scene.
Neither the driver nor their passenger were injured in the accident.
The police department is currently investigating the incident.
