Sedalia, MO (July 11, 2023) – The Missouri State Highway Patrol confirmed that 22-year-old Ethan Dillon of Warsaw, Missouri, lost his life as a result of a pedestrian accident that occurred on Monday morning in Pettis County.
At around 12:50 a.m. on July 10, Dillon was struck by a vehicle on US Highway 50 just west of Sadie Lane. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene of the crash without stopping.
Dillon was severely hurt as a result of the crash. Emergency medical services responded to the scene of the accident to provide assistance. However, he was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Pettis County Coroner’s Office at approximately 1:10 a.m.
At this time, the Missouri State Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
