Car Accidents in Missouri

Car accidents can be incredibly devastating. Unfortunately, tens of thousands of people are injured as a result of collisions every year in our state. Many people involved in accidents are left with severe trauma to the head, internal organ damage, and even broken bones.

Any type of serious injury can result in serious pain and suffering. It can also result in overwhelming financial burdens. After suffering injuries in a crash, you have the ability to file a personal injury claim.

When it comes to personal injury claims, Missouri adheres to pure comparative negligence, allowing injured parties to pursue compensation even if they bear some responsibility for the accident. In such cases, the damages awarded are reduced in proportion to the degree of fault attributed to the injured party. Consequently, if the injured person is found to be 99% at fault for the accident, the court can still grant compensation for the 1% of fault assigned to the other party.

This makes it imperative for you to seek legal representation from a Mosby car accident lawyer right away. Your attorney will be able to get started on your case immediately to ensure you have the best chance of maximizing the compensation you recover.
