Sedalia, MO – Two Teens Hurt in Crash on Route Y near Willow Dr

Sedalia, MO (November 13, 2023) – Two individuals were transported to area hospitals for the treatment of injuries following a collision that occurred in Pettis County on Saturday morning, November 11.

At around 8:40 a.m., the Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers were called to the scene of a crash on Missouri State Route Y.

According to law enforcement reports, a 2008 Kia Spectra was involved in a collision on the roadway just west of Willow Drive. The vehicle went off the right side of the roadway due to the collision and overturned.

A 16-year-old male and a 17-year-old female, both of Leeton, Missouri, were injured in the crash. The male victim was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center for emergency care. The female victim was transported to Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri, for emergency medical treatment.

At this time, investigations into the crash are underway.
