Clinton, MO – Teen Hurt in Hwy 13 Truck Accident near NW 400 Rd

Clinton, MO (October 27, 2023) – A 17-year-old suffered injuries as a result of an automobile accident that took place in Henry County. The accident was reported at around 3:20 p.m. on October 23.

According to Missouri State Highway Patrol trooper TR Williams, a 2014 Ford Fusion was stopped at the intersection of Highway 13 and Northwest 400 Road as the driver waited to make a left turn. For unknown reasons, the vehicle was struck by a 2004 Peterbilt 387. The vehicle then collided with a 2011 Chevrolet Cruze.

The Ford and the Peterbilt both sustained significant damage due to the accident. The two vehicles had to be towed from the scene.

The driver of the Ford, identified as a 17-year-old female from Clinton, Missouri, was injured. The victim was transported to Golden Valley Memorial for medical care.

At this time, the incident is being investigated.
