Lee’s Summit, MO (October 7, 2023) – A 6 16-year-old female was injured as a result of an automobile accident that took place in Jackson County on Friday evening.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers were called to the scene of the crash at approximately 5:10 p.m. on October 6.
According to local crash reports, a 2004 Nissan Armada was traveling on the northbound side of Interstate 470. As the vehicle came to a stop near mile marker 15, it became involved in a rear-end collision with the 2014 Honda Accord.
A 16-year-old female from Lee’s Summit, Missouri, suffered injuries in the accident. The victim was transported to St. Luke’s East Hospital, where she underwent emergency care.
At this time, the crash is being investigated.
