Raymore, MO (September 27, 2023) – Authorities confirmed that three people suffered injuries in an automobile accident that occurred on Monday evening in Cass County.
The crash was reported to authorities at around 8:01 p.m. on September 25.
According to reports provided by Missouri State Highway Patrol Trooper M E Groner, a 2002 Pontiac Grand Am was traveling through the intersection of school Road in West Hubach Hill Road. For reasons unknown, the vehicle attempted to turn at the intersection and collided with a 2010 Cadillac Escalade.
Both vehicles were severely damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Three people were injured in the crash. A 12-year-old female from Harrisonville, Missouri, was transported to Cass Regional Hospital by the South Metro Fire Protection District. A 17-year-old female from Peculiar, Missouri, was transported to Belton Regional Hospital. 18-year-old Austin Jimenez of Peculiar, Missouri, was transported to Research Main Hospital.
The accident is currently being investigated.
