Kansas City, MO (April 11, 2024) – One person was transported to a local hospital with injuries following an auto accident in Clay County. The incident was reported to law enforcement at around 4:10 p.m. on April 9.
According to area law enforcement, a rear-end collision involving a 2008 BMW 7 Series and a 2015 Nissan Murano occurred on the southbound side of Interstate 29. Authorities arrived on-site and located both vehicles with severe damage near North Oak Trafficway. The Missouri State Highway Patrol blocked off a portion of the roadway while assisting. One person involved in the crash was injured. The victim, identified as 37-year-old Jerah Mccune of Olathe, Kansas, was transported by Kansas City Fire EMS to North Kansas City Hospital for medical care. The incident is currently being investigated.
