Sedalia, MO (April 26, 2024) – One man was seriously injured as a result of the multi-vehicle accident that occurred in Pettis County on Wednesday evening, April 24. Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers were called to the scene of the accident at around 5:20 p.m.
According to official reports, a motor vehicle accident involving a 2003 Ford Explorer, a 2012 Chevrolet Equinox, a 2021 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck, and a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado occurred on the northbound side of US Highway 65. Authorities arrived at the scene and located all of the involved vehicles blocking multiple lanes of the road near Rebar Road. All of the vehicles except the Dodge had to be towed from the scene due to the extent of damage.
One person involved in the crash, identified as 28-year-old Dustin Renfro of Lincoln, Missouri, was seriously injured. Renfro was transported by Pettis County EMS to the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia, Missouri, for emergency treatment. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
