Kansas City, MO – Two Hurt in Auto Accident on NE Parvin Rd at I-435

Kansas City, MO (March 24, 2024) – A crash in the Chouteau Township area send two people to area hospitals with injuries. The accident was reported to officials in Clay County at around 10:50 a.m. on March 23.

According to law enforcement reports, the driver of a 2000 Ford echo line ran a red light at the ramp from Northeast Parvin Road onto Interstate 435. As a result, the Ford crashed into a 2022 Subaru Outback, causing it to overturn. The Subaru was totaled as a result of the accident and had to be towed from the scene. Two people in the Subaru were injured. Kansas City Fire Department EMS responded to the scene to render aid to 55-year-old David Marshall and 55-year-old Ginger Otto. Both victims were transported to North Kansas City Hospital for emergency care. The circumstances surrounding the accident are being investigated by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
