Lee’s Summit, MO (March 26, 2024) – A motor vehicle accident in Jackson County sent 62-year-old Pierre Hamilton of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, to an area hospital for the treatment of injuries. The incident occurred at around 5:10 p.m. on March 24.
According to official reports, the driver of a 2019 Toyota Avalon failed to negotiate a curve on the eastbound side of Interstate 470. As a result, the vehicle collided with a 2000 Ford Ranger near Colbern Road. Both of the vehicles were severely damaged in the accident and had to be towed from the scene. One person involved in the accident, identified as Hamilton, was transported to Centerpoint Hospital for emergency treatment. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
