Jackson Township, MO (August 25, 2023) – On August 24, troopers with the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to an automobile accident in Johnson County that injured a 58-year-old person from Warrensburg, Missouri.
At around 5:45 p.m., a 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe was traveling eastbound on US Highway 50. For unknown reasons, a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado turned right onto the eastbound side of the highway from Northwest 1971 Road. As a result, the two vehicles collided. The Hyundai was totaled due to the crash.
The driver of the Hyundai, 58-year-old Marjorie Murell, was severely injured in the crash. The injured party was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center, where they were admitted for emergency care.
The crash is being investigated at this time.
