Kansas City, MO (August 26, 2023) – A person riding a scooter was left with critical injuries as a result of a car crash that occurred late Friday afternoon.

At around 3:00 p.m. on August 25, the Kansas City, Missouri, Police Department was called to the site of a crash on 9 Highway.

Reports from law enforcement show that a person was riding a white Taizhou Heritage 150 scooter south on 9 Highway. For unknown reasons, it collided with a black Ford Fusion just north of Admiral Boulevard. The scooter then collided with a red Jeep Cherokee.

The scooter rider was severely hurt in the crash. The victim was rushed to a local hospital and admitted in critical condition.

At this time, investigations are underway.
