Kansas City, MO (August 14, 2023) – A motorcycle crash took place in Kansas City on Saturday evening that claimed one person’s life. The accident was reported to the Independence Police Department at around 8:36 p.m. on August 12.
Reports provided by the police show that a Honda motorcycle was heading south along Missouri Highway 291. For unknown reasons, the vehicle collided with a Ford Fusion at the intersection of Salisbury Road. The Ford was traveling westbound at the time of the accident.
The motorcyclist was severely injured in the accident. Despite medical efforts, the victim passed away while at the scene.
The Independence Police Accident Investigation Unit is investigating the accident.
