Hazelwood Twp., MO (December 8, 2023) – Three teens were injured as a result of a multi-vehicle accident that took place in Webster County. The accident was reported at around 6:00 a.m. on December 6.

Reports provided by the Missouri State Highway Patrol show that a 2012 Chevrolet Traverse was exiting a driveway on Highway P. At the same time, an Amish buggy was attempting to pass a second Amish buggy on the roadway. As the Chevrolet entered the roadway, it collided with one of the buggies, causing it to crash into the second. The Chevrolet and one of the buggies sustained moderate damage and had to be towed from the scene.

Three teenagers were injured as a result of the crash. The victims were identified as to juvenile females, ages 15, and a 17-year-old male, all of Seymour, Missouri. The three victims were treated at the scene. The two female victims were transported to Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri, for further care. The incident is currently being investigated.
