Kansas City, MO (December 16, 2023) – One person was critically injured as a result of an automobile accident that occurred on Tuesday evening in Kansas City. Calls for help came in at around 4:35 p.m. on December 12.
According to reports from the Kansas City police, a red sedan stopped suddenly on Interstate 70 for unknown reasons. As a result, the vehicle was rear-ended by a Chevrolet pickup truck near the Van Brunt Boulevard overpass. A semi-truck tractor-trailer that was coming down the roadway was not able to stop in time. As a result, it rear-ended the pickup truck.
A fourth vehicle, identified as a Dodge Ram pickup truck, then rear-ended the trailer. One person was injured as a result of the accident. Emergency medical services tended to the victim on site before transporting them to an area hospital. The driver was admitted in critical condition. At this time, the crash is being investigated.
