Jackson Twp., MO (December 17, 2023) – The Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers out of Johnson County were called to the scene of an automobile collision that occurred on Saturday morning and ended in injuries. Authorities received a request for help regarding the crash at approximately 11:15 a.m. on December 16.

According to reports provided by trooper MC Mennemeyer, a 2016 Ford F150 pickup truck was traveling on Route W while towing a 2000 Ford Excursion by a tow strap. As the vehicle proceeded through the intersection, it collided with a 1991 Chevrolet S-10 pickup truck. A passenger in the Chevrolet pickup truck, identified as 47-year-old John Knox of Bates City, Missouri, was injured. JCAD transported the victim to Western Missouri Medical Center for emergency care. At this time, the incident is being investigated.

We hope John Knox recovers quickly.
