Creighton, MO (July 7, 2023) – The Missouri State Highway Patrol confirmed that 21-year-old Chevy Renfrow of Clinton, Missouri, suffered serious injuries as a result of a truck crash that took place in Cass County.
According to official reports, just after 6:10 a.m. on July 6, a 2015 Peterbilt entered the northbound side of Missouri State Route 70 and accelerated to a highway speed. As the vehicle entered the roadway near Clinton Road, it collided with a 2012 Volkswagen Jetta. Both vehicles were severely damaged in the accident.
The driver of the Jetta, identified as Renfrow, suffered severe injuries. He was airlifted by Life Flight Eagle Air Ambulance and flown to Research Medical Center, where he underwent emergency treatment.
The accident is currently being investigated.
