Kansas City, MO (July 29, 2023) – One driver was rushed to a local hospital with critical injuries following a car crash that occurred on Thursday evening. Just before 10:00 p.m. on July 27, calls for assistance were received regarding a crash on East 30th Terrace.
Reports from local law enforcement show that the Independence Police Department was in pursuit of a vehicle that was reported stolen in the area. As the black Kia Soul proceeded through the intersection of East 30th Terrace and Van Brunt Boulevard, it ran a red light and crashed into a red Jeep Cherokee and a black Dodge Ram.
One person was critically injured in the accident. The victim was rushed to a local hospital for emergency medical care. Several other victims involved in the crash were injured. The victims were transported to area hospitals, where they were admitted in stable condition.
