Odessa, MO (July 28, 2023) – A pedestrian was left with significant injuries following a motor vehicle accident in Lafayette County, The accident occurred at around 4:00 a.m. on July 27.
According to reports provided by Trooper B.A. Owens with the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 49-year-old Jorge F Millar Gonzalez was struck by a vehicle on Interstate 70. Authorities arrived at the scene and located the victim suffering from injuries near mile marker 42.2. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene.
Millar Gonzalez, who is from Liberal, Kansas, was rushed to Centrepoint Hospital for emergency medical treatment.
