Kansas City, KS (June 22, 2023) – One person has lost their life as a result of an auto accident that occurred on Monday morning in the Kansas City area.
At around 6:40 a.m. on June 19, emergency crews were dispatched to the site of an automobile accident on Seventh Street.
Reports from the Kansas City Police Department show that three vehicles collided on the Seventh Street Bridge. The incident prompted authorities to shut down the roadway between Stine Avenue and Cheyenne Avenue as they worked to remove the damaged vehicles from the scene.
Three people were transported to area hospitals for emergency care. Authorities confirmed that one person passed away from their injuries.
The Kansas City Police Department is currently investigating to determine what caused the accident to occur.
