Longwood Township, MO (June 10, 2023) – On June 9, troopers with the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a crash in Jackson County that left 37-year-old Nathan Reger of Bates City, Missouri, injured.

At around 8:30 a.m., authorities were notified that they were needed at the scene of a crash that occurred on US Highway 50.

Investigations determined that a 2020 Western Star was involved in a collision with a 2022 Ford Ranger on the highway just east of Alley Jackson Road. The result of the accident. Emergency crews rushed to the scene to provide assistance.

The driver of the Ford, identified as Reger, suffered moderate injuries. He was transported to Centerpoint Hospital by Lone Jack Fire EMS.

At this time, the incident is being investigated.
