Kansas City, MO – Carol Sluder Hurt in Crash on I-29 at MM 3.2

Kansas City, MO (November 30, 2023) – A 63-year-old female from Conyers, Georgia, was injured as a result of a car crash that occurred in Platte County. The accident was reported at around 11:00 a.m. on November 27.

According to reports from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 2022 Riva was slowing for traffic on the southbound side of Interstate 29 near mile marker 3.2 when it was struck by a 2008 Mazda. Both vehicles were severely damaged in the collision and had to be towed from the scene.

MSHP and the Kansas City Fire Department responded to the crash site to assist. One person involved in the crash was injured. KCFD transported Carol Sluder to North Kansas City Hospital for the treatment of serious injuries. At this time, investigations into the crash are underway.
