Warrensburg, MO (October 10, 2023) – The Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers were called to the scene of an automobile accident that occurred in Johnson County and ended in injuries.
The crash was reported at around 1:50 p.m. on October 9.
According to MSHP Msgt. Trooper NJ Medrano, a 2010 Mazda CX-9 attempted to merge onto the roadway on a roundabout farm Missouri Route 13 when it crashed into the side of a 2014 Yamaha XV 250 V-Star 250. The impact of the crash caused the Yamaha to overturn near Business 13, pinning the driver.
The driver of the Yamaha, identified as 40-year-old Jennifer Zeikle of Warrensburg, Missouri, was injured. She was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg, Missouri, for emergency treatment.
The accident is being investigated at this time.
