Car Accidents in Missouri

Tens of thousands of people in our state are injured each year in car accidents. Many suffer severe head trauma, internal organ damage, and even broken bones as a result of collisions. Unfortunately, these and other injuries can have a devastating impact on a person’s life. When you suffer serious injuries in a crash, you have the right to file a personal injury claim to get the compensation you deserve.

When it comes to recovering compensation following a car crash, it is important to understand that Missouri adheres to pure comparative negligence when it comes to personal injury claims. This means that injured parties can be compensated even if they are partly to blame. In these cases, damages are reduced in proportion to the degree of fault attributed to the injured party. As a result, even if the injured person is found 99% to be at fault for an accident, the court can still award compensation for the remaining 1%.

After being harmed in a motor vehicle accident, a team of dedicated and knowledgeable Missouri accident lawyers will be able to begin working on your case immediately so that you have the best chance of maximizing your compensation.
