Tom Twp., MI (April 17, 2024) – The Missouri State Highway Patrol confirmed that 83-year-old Wilma Tankesley was injured as a result of an automobile accident that occurred in Benton County. The accident was reported to officials at around 2:00 p.m. on April 14.
According to official reports, a 2022 Jeep Compass was exiting Hensley Road and entering Cold Springs Avenue when it was struck by a 1994 Jeep Cherokee. The two vehicles involved in the accident sustained extensive damage and had to be towed from the scene. One person involved in the crash, identified as Tankesley, was injured. She was transported by Warsaw Lincoln EMS to Golden Valley Hospital for emergency care. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
