Freeman, MO (April 15, 2024) – A motor vehicle accident reported in Cass County left two people injured. The incident occurred at around 1:30 a.m. on April 13.

According to official reports, a 2002 Harley Davidson motorcycle was struck by a second vehicle on Route C at Missouri Route 2. The force of the collision caused the motorcycle to go off the roadway, ejecting both people who were riding. Emergency medical services responded to the scene to treat 26-year-old Raeann Edward and 42-year-old Thomas Dayringer. Air EMS transported Edward to research Medical Center. EMS transported Dayringer to the same hospital for medical care. At this time, investigations into the crash are ongoing.
