Clinton, MO (February 5, 2024) – Two people were transported to area hospitals with injuries following a collision that occurred in Henry County. The Missouri State Highway Patrol was notified of the crash at approximately 2:00 p.m. on February 2.
An SHP reports show that a 2023 Jeep Compass and a 2011 Lincoln MKT collided on Missouri State Route 13. The incident prompted authorities to close the roadway near Northwest 354th Road. Both vehicles were severely damaged in the crash and had to be towed from the scene. Two people involved in the accident were injured. Medical personnel tended to 32-year-old Zachary Sheridan of Clinton, Missouri, and 87-year-old Dan Purdy of Osceola, Missouri. The incident is being investigated at this time.
