Kansas City, MO (February 4, 2024) – A truck accident reported in Clay County sent one woman to a local hospital with injuries. The incident occurred at approximately 12:10 p.m. on February 2.
According to reports from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 2014 Honda Ridgeline was stopped at a stoplight in the area of Missouri State Route 210 just west of Interstate 435. For unknown reasons, a 1990 Peterbilt tractor-trailer struck the vehicle in the rear. A passenger in the Honda, identified as 47-year-old Tracy Holmes of Kansas City, Missouri, was injured. Kansas City EMS transported her to North Kansas City Hospital for emergency care. The crash is under investigation.
