Grand River Twp., MI (February 13, 2024) – The Missouri State Highway Patrol confirmed that two people were injured as a result of a car crash that occurred on Saturday in Cass County. Authorities were notified of the crash at around 10:35 p.m. on February 10.
Police reports indicate that a 2003 Pontiac Bonneville crashed into the rear of a 2021 Toyota Corolla near mile marker 162 on the northbound side of Interstate 49. Both vehicles were totaled as a result of the accident. Two people in the Toyota were injured. Harrisonville Fire and EMS responded to the scene to care for 24-year-old Mackenzie Koll and 23-year-old Megan Wanhala. Both victims were transported to Cass Regional Medical Center for further treatment and evaluation. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
