Jackson Twp., MO (February 17, 2024) – On February 16, emergency crews were requested at the scene of a motor vehicle accident in Johnson County that ended in injuries. The Missouri State Highway Patrol was informed of the collision just after 11:00 a.m.
According to reports, a 2016 Volvo was traveling on Missouri Highway 131 when it slid into the southbound lane and collided head-on with a 2013 Toyota near Northwest 700th Road. Both vehicles were severely damaged due to the impact of the crash and had to be towed from the scene. The driver of the Toyota, identified as 18-year-old Aaliya Logan of Odessa, Missouri, was injured. Logan was transported by Johnson County Ambulance District to Western Missouri Medical Center for emergency care. The accident is under investigation.
