Warrensburg, MO – Two Hurt in Car Crash on US-50 near NE 501 Rd

Warrensburg, MO (February 27, 2024) – Two people were transported to area hospitals with injuries following an automobile accident that occurred in Johnson County. The Missouri State Highway Patrol was informed of the accident at around 7:05 p.m. on February 25.

According to official reports, a 2007 Dodge Ram pickup truck and a 2014 Mazda CX9 collided on US Highway 50. The incident blocked the roadway just west of Northeast 501 Road. Both of the involved vehicles were totaled in the accident. They had to be towed from the scene. Two people involved in the accident were injured. Emergency medical services provided treatment to 25-year-old Zachary Pifer and 47-year-old Gayle Suppes while at the scene. The victims were then transported to Western Missouri Medical Center for further treatment. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
