Pleasant Hill, MO (March 11, 2024) – Emergency officials confirmed that 27-year-old Jordan Powell of Kansas City, Missouri, was transported to an area hospital with injuries following a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Saturday morning, March 9. The Missouri State Highway Patrol and paramedics were called to the scene of the accident at approximately 11:40 a.m.
According to official reports, a rear-end collision involving a 2013 GMC Acadia and a 2020 Chevrolet Colorado occurred on Missouri State Route 291 just north of Missouri Route 58. The impact of the crash caused the Chevrolet Colorado to strike a 2008 Ford Escape. The GMC was severely damaged in the accident and had to be towed from the scene. One person involved in the accident, identified as Powell, suffered moderate injuries. She was transported by South Metro Fire to Research Hospital for emergency medical care.
