Pleasant Hill, MO (March 29, 2024) - Emergency crews were called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident in Cass County that left one person hurt. The Missouri State Highway Patrol was called to the scene at around 8:25 AM on March 28.
According to official reports, a 2018 Nissan Rogue was stopped at the intersection of Missouri Highway 291 and Missouri Highway 58 East Junction. As the vehicle proceeded forward, it collided with a 2013 Nissan Altima. Both vehicles were totaled in the accident. One person involved in the crash, identified as 91-year-old Robert Lyons, was moderately injured. He was transported by South Metro Fire EMS to the Research Medical Center for emergency treatment. The accident is under investigation.
