Kansas City, KS (August 28, 2023) – A man suffered significant injuries as a result of an automobile accident that occurred on Friday in Kansas City.
Authorities from Wyandotte County were notified at around 7:20 p.m. on August 25 that they were needed at the scene of the crash.
According to reports provided by the Kansas Highway Patrol, a 2015 Ford edge was traveling south on Interstate 435 when he became involved in a collision. The vehicle then collided with a 2015 Jeep Wrangler. The impact of the crash sent the Ford off the roadway, where it went down an embankment and struck a tree before overturning.
The driver of the Ford, who was identified as a 64-year-old man from Olathe, Kansas, was seriously injured. He was transported to a local hospital for emergency medical treatment.
The Kansas Highway Patrol is investigating the collision at this time.
