Olathe, KS – Pedestrian Loses Life in Crash on E Kansas City Rd near N Central St

Olathe, KS (August 20, 2023) – A 28-year-old woman lost her life as a result of a pedestrian accident reported in Olathe on Friday evening, August 18.

At around 8:20 p.m., emergency officials were dispatched to the scene of an auto accident on East Kansas City Road.

Reports from the Olathe Police Department show that a female pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on East Kansas Road in the area near North Central Street. Authorities arrived at the scene and close down the roadway near Olathe Two Trails Park.

The pedestrian was transported to an area hospital for emergency medical care. Authorities confirm that she passed away after arriving.

The accident is currently being investigated by the police.
