Kansas City, MO – Three Hurt in Motorcycle Crash on Highway 169 near Northwest Barry Rd

Kansas City, MO (August 19, 2023) – The Kansas City, Missouri, Police Department responded to the scene of an auto accident on Highway 169.

Reports from the police show that just before 7:50 p.m. on August 17, a red Ducati motorcyclist was traveling south on the highway when it became involved in a rear-end accident with a gray Ford Escape near Northwest Barry Road. The crash caused the Ford to go off the side of the roadway, through a set of trees, before coming into contact with a concrete retaining wall.

The motorcyclist was severely injured in the crash and rushed to a local hospital, where they were admitted in critical condition. Two people in the Ford were transported to local hospitals for emergency care.

At this time, the incident is being investigated.
