Peculiar Township, MO (August 4, 2023) – Three people were transported to area hospitals with injuries following a crash that occurred in Cass County. The accident was reported to the Missouri State Highway Patrol at around 2:30 p.m. on August 3.
According to official reports, the driver of a 2008 Nissan Altima was traveling on Missouri State Route 291 when they attempted to overtake a 2020 Ford Transit. As a result, the two vehicles collided just south of Cottage Lane.
The Nissan was totaled as a result of the accident. Both vehicles were towed from the scene. Three people were injured in the crash. The victims were identified as 26-year-old Danielle Dalton of Harrisonville, Missouri, 29-year-old Victoria Bartles of Raymore, Missouri, and 59-year-old Joy Aman of Harrisonville, Missouri.
Aman was transported to St Luke’s East for emergency care. Dalton and Bartles were both transported to Cass Regional Medical Center.
At this time, the incident is being investigated.
