Adams Twp., MO (December 19, 2023) – one person was injured as a result of an automobile accident that occurred in Adams Township on Sunday evening, December 17. The crash was reported to the Missouri State Highway Patrol at around 6:20 p.m.
According to official reports, a 2011 Chevrolet Impala was traveling north on Missouri State Route 146. At the same time, a 2001 Chevrolet S-10 pickup truck was traveling southbound on the same roadway. For unknown reasons, the vehicles collided head-on just two miles north of Gilman City.
The two vehicles were severely damaged in the accident and had to be towed from the scene. The driver of the pickup truck, identified as 34-year-old Francisco Prior Cruz of Gilman City, Missouri, suffered serious injuries in the accident. He was transported by NTA EMS to Harrison County Community Hospital for emergency treatment. At this time, the incident is being investigated by law enforcement.
