Blue Springs, MO (December 12, 2023) – Two women were transported to area hospitals with injuries following a multi-vehicle accident that occurred in Jackson County. The crash took place at around 3:00 p.m. on December 9.
According to official reports, a 2008 Lexus RX 350 collided with the rear of a 2011 Buick Regal. The force of the collision caused the Buick to collide with a 2014 Ford Fusion. Two women in the Buick, identified as 74-year-old Zella Bright and 76-year-old Mary Couch, both of Independence, Missouri, were injured in the accident. The two victims were transported to Centerpoint Medical Center for emergency treatment. Investigations into the crash are ongoing.
