Garden City, MO – Four Injured in MO-7 Crash near E 323rd St

Garden City, MO (December 25, 2023) – A major motor vehicle accident reported in Cass County sent several victims with injuries to area hospitals. The accident was reported to the Missouri State Highway Patrol at around 11:35 a.m. on December 24.

According to official reports, a 2009 Chevrolet Malibu pulled in front of a 2011 Hyundai Tucson while traveling on Missouri State Route seven just south of East 323rd Street. Both of the vehicles were totaled as a result of the accident. The Cass County Sheriff’s Department responded to the scene to assist.

Four people were injured as a result of the accident. EMS responded to the scene to provide care to 18-year-old Karlee Shockley, 19-year-old Kyle Shockley, 21-year-old Ireland Seay, and 22-year-old Dalton Seay. Karlee Shockley was transported to Research Medical Center for emergency treatment. Kyle Shockley was transported to St. Luke’s Hospital for further care. Ireland Seay and Dalton Seay were both transported by ambulance to Cass Regional Medical Center. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
