Orrick, MO (December 21, 2023) – The Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers confirmed that 47-year-old Jocelynn Apfel of Melbourne, Florida, was hospitalized following a crash that occurred on Monday evening in Ray County. Patrol troopers responded to the scene at approximately 7:07 p.m. on December 18.
According to official reports, a 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee was traveling west on Route O when it collided with a Vermeer Trencher near Blaine Hill Road. One person involved in the accident, identified as Apfel, was injured. She was transported by Ray County EMS to liberty hospital for emergency care. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
