Richmond, MO – Crash with Injuries Reported on MO-210 at Route EE

Richmond, MO (December 22, 2023) – Two people were transported to area hospitals with injuries due to a car crash that occurred in Ray County on Wednesday afternoon, December 20. At around 12:20 p.m., troopers with the Missouri State Highway Patrol were dispatched to the scene of a car crash that occurred on Missouri 210.

According to MSHP Trooper A C Hunolt, a 2006 Ford F150 was passing through the intersection of Missouri 210 and Route EE when the 17-year-old driver failed to stop at a stop sign. As a result, the vehicle proceeded forward and struck a 2004 Toyota Sequoia. Two people sustained injuries in the crash. A 17-year-old male and 43-year-old Michael Desmond of Richmond, Missouri, were both transported to North Kansas City Hospital. The crash is currently being investigated.
