Centerview, MO (June 19, 2023) – The Missouri State Highway Patrol was notified that a crash took place at around 6:00 p.m. on June 17 that required their assistance.
According to official reports, the driver of a 2012 Cadillac CTS attempted to change lanes from the left lane to the right lane while traveling on the eastbound side of US Highway 50. The vehicle traveled off the roadway and struck a 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 pickup truck. The impact of the collision sent the pickup truck off the right side of the roadway just east of Northwest 601 Road.
Both vehicles were totaled in the crash and had to be towed away from the scene.
Three people suffered injuries due to the accident. EMS responded to the scene to provide care to 60-year-old Carl Cannon of Sedalia, Missouri. The victim was transported to Research Medical Center with serious injuries. The two other victims, 45-year-old Stephen Cozad and 22-year-old Logan Dunbar were transported by ambulance to Western Missouri Medical Center.
At this time, the incident is being investigated.
