Warrensburg, MO (November 24, 2023) – Emergency officials were requested at the scene of a motor vehicle accident in the Warrensburg area that ended in injuries. The crash occurred just before 4:30 p.m. on November 22.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol reports, a 2016 Ford Edge and a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica were both totaled after colliding on the westbound side of US Highway 50. The incident prompted MSHP troopers to close the road just east of Business Highway 13 while assisting. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
The driver of the Ford, identified as 21-year-old Morgan Gatschet of Warrensburg, Missouri, was injured in the crash. She was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center for care. At this time, investigations into the crash are underway.
