Whitakerville, MO (November 25, 2023) – Troopers with the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the scene of an automobile accident in Benton County that left an 18-year-old female from Linn Creek, Missouri, injured. The crash was reported at around 12:15 a.m. on November 23.
According to reports from MSHP Cpl. R J Champan, a 2010 Chevrolet Impala went off the right side of the roadway in the 18200 block of Lone Star Road during the early morning hours. As the vehicle crossed the roadway, it collided with a 2007 Ford F-150 pickup truck.
One person involved in the crash, identified as Chelsea Lewis, was injured. She was transported by Warsaw/Lincoln Ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital for emergency care. At this time, investigations into the crash are underway.
