Warrensburg, MO (November 20, 2023) – Officers with the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident in Johnson County that left one person injured. The crash occurred at around 6:30 p.m. on November 17.
According to official reports, a 2003 Sterling was traveling in the area of US Highway 50 and Northwest 121st Road. As the vehicle began to slow to make a turn, it was involved in a crash with a 2012 Dodge. The incident prompted authorities to shut down the roadway.
One person involved in the crash was injured. The victim, identified as 26-year-old Summer Hiser of Independence, Missouri, was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center for emergency care. At this time, investigations into the crash are underway.
